How it works
Rent is set once per room type. The public listing's price and every invoice raised are projected from that one card, so a rent is changed in exactly one place.
Why
Why it is built this way
When rent lives in the listing, the resident's record and the invoice, the three drift apart, and a resident is eventually billed a price the site never advertised.
